ProSync is seeking a passionate Access Control Specialist to help ensure security and intelligence compliance with policies and regulations, drawing on some of the nation's leading personnel and cybersecurity thought leaders for enhancing, accelerating, and assuring the United States Navy's ability to counter existing and emerging security threats. 

This position offers a salary in the range of $57k-74k based on numerous factors, including location, degree and overall experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES
This position handles the support of the Sensitive Compartment Information Facility. This role includes:

• Demonstrated experience in Physical Security (PHYSEC) and Information Security (INFOSEC) within the Department of Defense (DoD) or the Intelligence Community (IC), showcasing a strong understanding of the intricate interplay between safeguarding personnel, facilities, and sensitive information in a highly regulated environment.
• Proficiency in managing and implementing alarm and access control systems, ensuring that robust security measures are in place to prevent unauthorized access and respond effectively to potential security breaches.
• Experience in overseeing and mentoring junior security personnel, providing guidance and support in their professional development, fostering a collaborative team atmosphere, and ensuring that all security protocols and procedures are adhered to with the utmost diligence.

Requirements

• Four (4) years of experience in Access Control in the DoD or IC. 
1. Maintaining access control software and databases to buildings, personnel, and property (e,g. Velocity, DISS, ).
2. Creation of temporary access badges.
3. Develop and maintain attendance rosters and after action reports for special events
4. Maintaining operation logs and employee files.
• Two (2) years of experience:
1. Processing all incoming and outgoing visit requests.
2. Clearance verifications.
• One (1) year of experience:
1. Experience utilizing secure file transfer systems (e.g. DOD Safe).
2. C Coding Access Control Cards (e.g. CAC, HID).
3. Conduct audits of security documentation during military, civilian, and contractor check-ins. Verification of required documentation and/or collection of any missing documents.
• A minimum High School Diploma, GED or higher.
• A minimum Secret security clearance or higher with the ability to obtain a Top Secret w/ SCI is required to be considered for this position.
  
  

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
