**Maintenance Technician** **Monday-Friday 1st Shift** **$28-$36/hr** **Job Description** As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of mechanical, and electrical systems by adhering to safety procedures and performing regular maintenance tasks. This role involves conducting equipment checks, performing repairs, and supporting building upkeep, all while maintaining clear communication with coworkers and customers. **Responsibilities** + Conduct regular equipment and system checks to identify issues and document performance. + Perform basic maintenance and minor repairs on mechanical and electrical systems. + Service and maintain docks, commercial doors, locks, and hardware. + Complete preventative maintenance tasks such as filter changes, oil changes, and lubrication. + Assist with building upkeep including patching, painting, and lighting repairs. + Document work in the CMMS system and recommend updates to maintenance plans. + Communicate clearly with coworkers and customers regarding work status and expectations. + Support subcontractors and ensure work aligns with site standards. + Participate in required safety training and follow life-critical work procedures. **Essential Skills** + Preventive maintenance experience. + Proficiency in maintaining and repairing facility equipment, including dock levelers, seals, bumpers, commercial doors, and locks. + Basic plumbing and electrical system knowledge. + Experience in completing preventative maintenance tasks such as filter changes and lubrication. + Clear communication skills with coworkers and customers. + Ability to assist or guide subcontractors when needed. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + High school diploma or equivalent; some college or trade school preferred. + 1+ year of experience servicing and maintaining commercial dock equipment. + Experience with doors such as Power Ramp, Nabco, Stanley Access Technology, Record USA, Tormax, Besam, Allegion Door Hardware, Assa Abloy preferred. + Valid driver's license. + AADM certification preferred. **Why Work Here?** This opportunity offers clear career pathways, cross-training, and advancement opportunities.
