Florist Driver/Helper Adecco is now hiring Florist Driver/Helper for our client that has over 100 years of trusted experience in their field. The team here values all individual's different skills, and your managers will take great care of you! This is a temporary opportunity for up to 6 months! Responsibilities + Cut and process new flowers when they come in for arrangements, remove thorns and plastic, etc. + Assist florist when needed to wire flowers, water plants, maintain front shop, etc. + Bringing various types of flowers out of stock for arrangements and restocking items + Make placement bouquets with minimal supervision according to current prices + Help clean workroom every day on arrival and before leaving for the day. + Clean front shop (display area) daily, clean refrigerators two times per week, and empty trash daily. + Keep workroom and refrigerators neat, floor swept as much as possible to avoid any unsafe condition. + Make placement bouquets and deliver them to proper location. + Must have a valid DL to deliver all service flowers one hour before the service to sites. Deliver visitation room flowers at the time requested. + Drive and maintain flower shop vans (gas, water, oil, tires, etc.) making sure they are in safe running condition. + Maintain good communication with the public and other employees. See how we can help you learn the fundamental, leadership, and/or industry-specific skills you need to secure a better future: Requirements: · High school diploma/General education degree (GED). · Have a valid Driver's License and must not have any moving violations to the criteria listed below: o No more than one moving violation in the past three years o No violations for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) or Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) or Reckless Driving in the past (5) five years. o No Suspensions in the past (5) five years. · Must have strong communication skills. · Strong time management skills and a self-started. · Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Shifts Available: Shifts are from 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. including every weekend.
