Host/Hostess

Harbour Club - Miami Beach, FL

We are currently hosting open interviews for this position on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM. No appointment necessary.

Founded by industry veterans James Julius (Annabel’s, Major Food Group) and Executive Chef Michele Eposito (Forte Dei Marmi, Casa Tua), Harbour Club Miami is a premier destination for luxury dining and refined experiences. With three distinct outlets, our establishment will offer unparalleled service and an elegant atmosphere. Nikai, a private Japanese restaurant, and the Palm Room, a speakeasy-style lounge, are exclusive to our esteemed members, while our upscale Mediterranean trattoria, A'riva, welcomes all guests to enjoy its exceptional offerings.

Join the exclusive Harbour Club Miami team as a Host/Hostess, where you will be the welcoming face of our luxurious dining establishments. As a Host/Hostess, you will ensure an exceptional guest experience from the moment guests arrive until their departure, reflecting the elegance and sophistication of our club.

Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort members and guests warmly, addressing them by name when possible
• Manage reservations and maintain an organized seating chart using advanced reservation management systems
• Communicate efficiently with the Maitre'D and management team to optimize seating and flow.
• Provide information about the club’s offerings and events
• Manage high-end clientele with poise
• Assist with special requests and accommodate member/guest needs
• Uphold Harbour Club's standards of service, professionalism, and hospitality at all times
• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the space

Qualifications:

• The right charisma to enhance the atmosphere at the front door. A Host/Hostess should be able to create a warm, inviting environment while maintaining an air of sophistication.
• A positive and enthusiastic attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding hospitality experiences
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (ability to remember faces and names is a big plus)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to remain calm and professional in high-pressure situations
• Familiarity with SevenRooms is a plus
• Prior experience as a host/hostess in a fine dining or luxury environment is a plus
• Ability to work a minimum of 4 shifts per week
• Flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and occasionally lift light items like menus, supplies, etc.
