Description A prominent municipal entity in Oakland is seeking a skilled Civil Litigation Secretary to join their legal team on a long-term contract and hybrid basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented legal professional with strong civil litigation support experience, and someone seeking flexibility to work 3 days remote, and 2 days on-site! Key Responsibilities: + Perform high-volume state and federal e-filing + Manage complex calendaring, deadlines, and court schedules + Draft, revise, and format litigation documents, including TOAs/TOCs + Support attorneys with administrative and litigation tasks + Maintain organized case files and assist with document preparation Requirements + 2+ years of civil litigation experience required + Experience supporting municipal entities (or working within one) strongly preferred + Proficiency with e-filing platforms, legal calendaring, and document formatting + Strong written communication, attention to detail, and organizational skills + Ability to work on-site in Oakland 2 days per week If you're a proactive litigation secretary seeking a stable, hybrid role with meaningful public-sector impact, we'd love to connect with you!
