At our Landing Gear Services facility in Medley, FL, we are seeking a Purchasing Agent, responsible for coordinating activities involved with the purchase of various products and services which includes aircraft parts, tooling, raw material, outside processes, and other special procurements.

**Important Notice : 

  Eligibility Requirement : Only U.S. Citizens or Permanent Residents will be considered for this position.

  Responsibilities:

• Identify, evaluate, and maintain relationships with qualified suppliers based on cost, lead time, and performance
• Prepare RFQs, evaluate bids, and negotiate pricing and terms with suppliers
• Prepare purchase orders, ensure accurate specifications, and process part estimates and quotes
• Monitor inventory levels and spending to align with the organization’s strategic plan
• Track delivery performance, address supplier issues, and resolve quality concerns
• Serve as the primary contact between suppliers and internal departments; maintain clear communication on order status and delays
• Maintain accurate purchasing records, including items/services ordered and supplier interactions
• Approve invoices for payment, ensuring alignment with purchase terms and deliver
• Provide market insights and participate in strategic planning and process improvements
• Other duties as required 

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Knowledge of Aviation industry suppliers
• Aerospace industry knowledge preferred
• Strong negotiation/contracting, analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with the ability to compile and present data in a format that facilitates information sharing and decision making
