We have an exciting opportunity to join our marketing team as a Web Content & Search Engine Optimization Strategist. POSITION SUMMARY The Web Content & SEO Strategist will be responsible for planning, implementing, creating and managing the company's overall SEO strategy and web content. The individual must be an excellent communicator who is self-motivated and able to work well in a cross-functional team environment. The role requires collaboration with the digital, brand strategy, creative services, and communications teams to increase opportunities for new patient acquisition, patient retention and direct-to-consumer marketing. The Strategist must maintain awareness of industry and consumer trends, technological advances, and emerging platforms and communicate these trends to the digital team. The role will require executing keyword research and competitive analyses, as well as recommending, forecasting, planning and budgeting. This individual will manage related assets with the members of the digital team, including recommending ad copy and landing pages. The Strategist will monitor, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPI) metrics, identifying successes and opportunities, then optimize campaigns as needed. The role reports to the Director of Digital Marketing Strategy. Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for managing and executing SEO activities such as content strategy, link building and keyword strategy to increase rankings on all major search networks
  • Work within a content management system (CMS) and collaborate with other digital team members to manage all web properties
  • Content creation for various websites, landing pages and digital campaigns
  • Enrich the user journey through optimal content presentation and development
  • Collaborate among cross-functional departments to ensure campaigns have an integrated approach, are on-brand and deliver consistent brand messaging.
  • Use of research & analytic tools to assist with research for SEO and content creation
  • Technical SEO knowledge and implementation
  • Optimization of website content copy and landing pages
  • Perform ongoing keyword discovery
  • Research and implement new search engine optimization techniques
  • Development and implementation of link-building strategies
  • Ensure SEO best practices are properly implemented
  • Work with other members of the marketing team to drive SEO in content creation and content programming
  • Recommend changes to website architecture, content, linking and other factors to improve SEO positions for target keywords
  • Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills, plus manage multiple projects
  • Conduct and support audits of existing web properties and content for continual refinement and optimization
Qualifications:

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, advertising or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in SEO, content creation and digital advertising, healthcare preferred
  • Experience with search/social technologies, e.g., Hootsuite, Google Ads; Excel competency
