A local Plainwell-based snow & ice management contractor is hiring experienced equipment operators for the upcoming winter season. Operators will support snow removal operations at a large, professional commercial site in Allegan .
This is a seasonal, on-call role — ideal for operators who already run equipment, plow on the side, or want to add reliable winter income during snow events.
Operate loaders, skid steers, and similar heavy equipment during snow events
Push, pile, and relocate snow based on site maps and safety standards
Perform basic pre- and post-shift equipment checks (fuel, fluids, lights)
Communicate with dispatch or zone leadership throughout the event
Log completed work and upload site photos using company software
Maintain professionalism at a high-visibility commercial facility
Prior experience operating loaders, skid steers, or heavy equipment
Snow removal experience strongly preferred
Availability during snow events, including overnights, weekends, and holidays
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to Allegan job site
Dependable, safety-focused, and comfortable working in winter conditions
Strong hourly pay for seasonal work
Consistent hours during major snow events
