ABOUT Hermosa

Hermosa, located approximately 75 miles south-east of Tucson, Arizona, is the only advanced mining project in the United States as of 2023 that could produce two federally designated critical minerals—manganese and zinc—as well as silver and lead. The project has the potential to help power the nation’s clean energy future, strengthen the domestic supply chain of critical minerals, grow the local economy, and improve lives in Santa Cruz County and the surrounding community for generations to come.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

The Systems Completion Specialist will oversee the management of the completions and commissioning management system (Hexagon CCMS Smart Completions) and will provide guidance and support for the creation of all procedures relating to project completions and project phase transition. This role is a Permanent position based at the Hermosa Project site, near Patagonia, Arizona. 

Other key responsibilities include, but aren’t limited to: 

• Manage creation, role configuration (authorization level), support and training for user management. 
• Create various account levels for use by different users throughout the project. 
• Create and set up CCMS WBS tree.
• Consolidate and classify asset lists, ensuring accurate data entry and organization. 
• Collaborate with the commissioning manager and engineering to support creation of proper subsystems
• Oversee the creation, digitalization and allocation of project records for each asset type.
• Aid the EPC and Commissioning groups in creation of a project punch procedure. 
• Manage the project through various stages (construction, pre-operational commissioning, and operational commissioning), ensuring smooth custody transfers for each turnover and handover asset transition.
• Configure, create and monitor Turnover and Handover document packages.
• Configure the various CCMS tools used to manage day to day activities.
• Lead creation and implementation of the P6 module in Hexagon to align with both the commissioning and overall project schedules. Develop project reports to track all key metrics daily. 
• Support setup of other CCMS Built in Managing Modules. 
• Support development and delivery of training programs to personnel who will be required to access the Hexagon Smart Completions platform. 

ABOUT YOU 

You will have experience and demonstrate capability in the following: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining or equal project and commissioning experience. 
• Experience utilizing Hexagon CCMS preferred
• Experience with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Power BI preferred
• 3+ years' Commissioning experience and application to database 
• Good understanding of project stakeholder deliverables including engineering, construction, quality and commissioning. 
• Good working knowledge of the various managing modules Hexagon has incorporated within its application.
• Superior understanding of turnover and handover requirements.
