Job Description
Job Summary
- Perform various warehousing tasks including shipping, receiving, stocking, order pulling, material handling, loading, and unloading trucks.
- Operate powered and non-powered material handling equipment (training provided if required).
- Complete assigned activities efficiently under the direction of the warehouse supervisor or Team Lead.
- Maintain warehouse tidiness and cleanliness to meet standards.
- Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and requirements (training provided).
- Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and processed properly.
- Meet productivity and quality standards as set by management.
- Handle equipment and materials with care, including items valued up to $150,000.
- Work rapidly to meet deadlines in a labor-intensive environment.
- Learn and apply various warehouse functions and processes as needed.
- Collaborate effectively as part of a team to achieve operational goals.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
- Physically perform tasks such as walking, standing, bending, reaching, and lifting up to 100 lbs.
- Frequently stoop, bend, squat, and kneel to service equipment at floor level.
- Work in a typical warehouse environment with exposure to moderate noise, temperature changes, chemical solvents, and cleaners.
- Practice safe handling of equipment and materials to avoid minor work-related injuries.
