Job Title: Material Handler
Location: Hudson, WI
Schedule: 2nd Shift, Full-Time (Overtime as needed)
Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for safely and efficiently handling, inspecting, and staging glass products in a fast-paced warehouse environment. This role supports production and shipping operations by ensuring materials are moved accurately, handled with care, and prepared for delivery while maintaining high safety and quality standards.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Safely handle, lift, and move glass products throughout the facility
Inspect glass for defects, damage, or quality issues
Pick, stage, and pack glass on racks according to work orders
Load and unload materials as needed
Operate powered industrial equipment (forklifts, order pickers, reach trucks, pallet jacks) once trained and certified
Maintain accurate inventory movement and staging
Follow all safety policies, procedures, and best practices
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to consistently attend scheduled shifts
Ability to lift approximately 20 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs occasionally
Comfortable working in a warehouse/manufacturing environment
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
Willingness to learn equipment operation and safety procedures
Preferred Skills & Experience
Prior warehouse, manufacturing, or material handling experience
Forklift or powered industrial truck experience (training provided if not certified)
